The Wildcats scorch the nets in a furious 37 point fourth quarter to overtake the Knights on the road in Wheaton. Jonathon Newman, who struggled from 3 point range in the first half, nailed 4 in a row in the second half and hit all 9 free throws to seal the contest for WJ. Newman finished with a game-high 27 points. Freshman guard Philip Stubin was 6 of 7 from the field for 16 points and added 3 assists in his second varsity game. Senior forward Will Koenick, junior forward Hank Roll, and junior guard Spencer Mahne each contributed 9 points. Koenick paced the Wildcats with 6 rebounds, and Mahne led in assists with 5. WJ shot a combined 61.7% from the field, and 84.2% from the free throw line. The Wildcats next take to the road to face the Northwest Jaguars in Germantown on Tuesday, February 6th, with tipoff scheduled for 7:15.
