The Wildcats came out swinging, hitting 5 from 3 point range in the first quarter and building an early 9 point (20-11) lead. The Patriots struck back, and took the lead after a 13-2 run in the second quarter, building a 4 point lead at the half (30-34).
The Wildcats, who hit 14 of 30 from long range on the night, stayed within striking distance of the Pats, trailing by only 5 at 46-51 late in the third quarter. The Wildcats would not get closer the rest of the way, as fouls to gain possession widened the final scoring gap.
