The Wildcats get (mostly) healthy and gain a spark from 2 rising JV players, but fall just short in a double overtime loss against the visiting Vikings. Junior power forward Hank Roll, missing since winter break due to an ankle injury, returned to the lineup and contributed a team-high 16 points and 7 rebounds. Senior co-captain Will Koenick continued his steady play, adding 14 points, 5 steals, 5 assists and 6 boards. The game marked the debut of freshman guard Philip Stubin, who contributed valuable minutes at the point and scored 5 points and added 2 assists. Sophomore forward Josh Forburger played his second game at the varsity level and hit a 3 pointer late in the fourth quarter which helped send the game to overtime. The Wildcats recorded a 17 to 6 assist to turnover ratio. The Wildcats finish their game week with a trip to Wheaton to take on the Knights in a conference rematch. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:15.
