Brittney Wagner, MS, LAT, ATC
Brittney Wagner, MS, LAT, ATC, began working as the Head Athletic Trainer at Walter Johnson High School in 2017, employed by Medstar Sports Medicine. Brittney also works as a physician extender with physiatrist Dr. Matthew Maxwell and Dr. Alison Kitay, who is the chief of hand surgery at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. Brittney earned her bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine at Coppin State University and her graduate degree in Athletic Training at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining WJ, Brittney was employed at Severna Park High School in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Brittney’s special interests include educating student athletes on injury prevention, sports enhancement, and flexibility. Brittney is also a Adjunct Professor at Coppin State University where she teaches Therapeutic Exercise, Physiology of Exercise, Therapeutic Modalities, and History and Sports Governance.
